The real victims of Jesus not dying on the cross

In the tradition of Grant Clarke, I will take a portion of the latest post entitled “Jesus Didn’t Die On the Cross – That’s what they taught us” and examine it deeper.  In case you have not read the post, you can go to it here.
https://whathappenedtodeerfield.wordpress.com/2010/03/14/jesus-didnt-die-on-the-cross-thats-what-they-taught-us/ It is an amazing post and deserves to be read many times.  There is much to get out of it.

I love the part where Grant Clarke mentions the Easter Sunday service as the “Mount Rushmore” of services, that it is the most difficult one for which to prepare.  That can be found in the paragraph that begins with “Christians Ridiculed:”  The idea is wisely stated that the concept of Jesus dying is a lie, creating the difficulty of preachers to continue to lie every year to their followers.

There are a few things to look at here.  Who is doing the lying, and are there any victims?  Well, looking at Grant’s service, he would make you believe the preachers are victims (“those poor preachers”).  Is there an accusation that the lie only starts from the top and that everybody else is just a victim?  Is Grant suggesting that everybody else (the preachers and their followers) are just fooled to believe this?  Grant makes you think this.

The reason this must trouble the preachers so much is because they are better educated in the Bible than their followers.  Thus, the “concept” that Jesus died is even harder to believe.  The preachers are looking at the same Bible we are, and they must have the same idea as us, right?  Even they must think that Jesus did not die, correct?  But the preachers are being loyal to the governing Christian body and want to continue to spread the word about Jesus’ death, even if they may not believe it themselves.

For the lowly followers, there is nothing to really think about.  They just spend an hour of their week listening to  service and then go about and do their own thing the rest of the time.  They don’t bother to notice any potential irregularities in the Bible, any inaccuracies.  It is the preacher that notices all this.  It is the preacher that really suffers here.

Let’s break this down further.  Who was our preacher?  It was Grant. Can you see why He would paint such a picture of the poor little preacher?  Grant helps us to feel that Christians at best misunderstand one of the most important events in the life of Jesus, and at worst are completely living a lie and spreading a lie as well about the life (and death) of Jesus.  Why would Christians want to do this?  I guess to control you.  All of this is coming from the person (and the whole MST governing body which includes Jane Clarke and Gregg Hake) who have been shown all over this blog to want to control every aspect of each person’s lives.  We were so asleep we never saw it.

Next, let’s face it.  If Grant is going to paint a picture of the preacher as a victim, their followers must also be victims.  Well, sort of.  In one sense they are victims.  After all, they “blindly” follow the words of their preachers.  That makes them a victim.  At the same time, Grant has gone on many other times about how the typical person is religious only a few hours a week.  This was one of the things that separated us from them and would make us successful in the process of the Restoration.  While Grant is making the followers seem like victims, he also telling us how lazy and uninitiated they are, and how afraid they are of change.  That is not the status of a victim.  Confused yet?  You should be.

As far as the top level of Christianity, where the whole “lie” about Jesus dying on the cross was created and where it is still perpetuated, well who is at the top here, telling us the Christians are liars?  You got it, Grant, Jane and Gregory Hake.  Those three are calling Christians liars.  That is like the pot calling the kettle black.

  1. Good point. I remember that.

They made us not only believe almost everything they said, but to judge others and to make fun of others, separating us from the “unreal world,” as they called it. (That’s right, we were “IN the world, but not OF the [unreal] world.” You see, we are the smart ones, the Chosen Ones!)

The leaders of the MST (IAO, Energetix, OCR, SGS) cult taught us that only WE were part of the “REAL” world, that which actually “knew the truth,” not like those other foolish people.

Wow! Grant spoke gibberish! Almighty Grant and Gregg Hake versus Christianity. They judged preachers, doctors, knowledgeable people, anybody who thought different than them, “the owners of the truth.”

Why did we believe all of that crap? Somehow we respected our cult leaders.
“Cult leaders have an outstanding ability to charm and win over followers. They command the utmost respect and obedience. Through psychological manipulation and control, cult leaders trick their followers into believing in something, then prevent them from testing and disproving that mythology or belief system.”

I like the recommended books that are listed in this blog. In Captive Hearts, Captive Minds by Madeleine Tobias and Janja Lalich, it is easier to understand what happens in these harmful and brainwashing cults and to see the personality disorder of the cult leaders.
We cannot understand things by ourselves, we need both the professional guide like that book and this blog, with so many real and very personal stories, where we get to see things more clearly.

  2. Y’all’s leaders will certain pay for their sins:

Death is certain but the Bible speaks about untimely death!

Make a personal reflection about this…….

Very interesting, read until the end……

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):

Be not deceived; God is not mocked:

for whatsoever a man sow, that shall he also reap…

Here are some men and women who mocked God :

    JOHN LENNON(Singer):

Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine,he said:
“Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that… I am certain.”

“Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him'” (1966).

Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

THE MAN WHO BUILT THE TITANIC:

After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said, “not
    even God can sink it”.

The result: I think y’all know what happened to the Titanic

    MARILYN MONROE (Actress)

She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a
show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said, “I don’t need your Jesus”.
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment

    BON SCOTT (Singer):

The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC.. On one of his 1979 songs he
sang: “Don’t stop me; I’m going down all the way, down the highway to hell”.

On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.

Many have died, but ONLY JESUS DIED AND ROSE AGAIN, and he is still alive.
